ತರ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಲುಕದ ಜಟ್ಟ

ಜಟ್ಟ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಲೆನಾಡಿನ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕ ಹುದ್ದೆಯ ವನಪಾಲಕನ ಹೆಸರು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳು. ಒಂದು ಬಹುದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಇತ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗದ ಅವನ ಕಾಯಂ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹುದ್ದೆಯ ಆಕಾಂಕ್ಷೆ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಚಾರಣಿಗನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಓಡಿ ಹೋದ ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿ. ತಾನೇನೂ ಅಷ್ಟು ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಗಂಡನಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಏಕೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋದಳೆಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಅವನ ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವುದು ಭಾರತದ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ರಕ್ಷಕನೆಂದು ಕರೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯ. ಆತ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಚೋದನಕಾರಿ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದ, ಜಟ್ಟನ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಓಡಿಹೋದದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ಈಗಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅತಿಯಾದ ಪಾಶ್ಚಾತ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಭಾವಕ್ಕೂ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿ ಜಟ್ಟನನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂಘದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗ್ತಾನೆ.

ಅದೇ ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಜಟ್ಟನ ಕಾಡಿನ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತುಂಡುಡುಗೆಯ ಪಾನದ ನಶೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರು ಚಲಾಯಿಸಿ ಅಪಘಾತಕ್ಕೀಡಾದ ಹುಡುಗಿಯೊಬ್ಬಳು ಆಗ ತಾನೇ ಕಚ್ಚಲು ಕಲಿತ ಮಗುವೊಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಬ್ಬೆರಳು ಸಿಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಜಟ್ಟನಿಗಾಗಿರುವ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಪ್ರಚೋದನೆಗೆ ಸರಿಯಾದ ಬಲಿಯಂತೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಆದರೆ ಆಕೆ ಉಗ್ರಸ್ತ್ರೀವಾದಿಯಾದ ಕಾರಣ ಜಟ್ಟ ಮೀನು ಹಿಡಿಯಲು ಹೋಗಿ ಮೊಸಳೆ ಹಿಡಿದು ಬಿಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗದ ಅಸಹಯಾಕ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಇದರ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಜಟ್ಟನ ದಿನನಿತ್ಯದ ಕೆಲಸವಾದ ಕಾಡುಗಳ್ಳರ ಪತ್ತೆ, ಮರ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ, ನಿಷ್ಟಾವಂತ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯ ಒಡನಾಟ, ಖದೀಮರ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪ್ರಭಾವ  ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಗಳು ಬಿಡುವಿಲ್ಲದೇ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವಂತೆ ಕಥೆಗೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಆಯಾಮ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸಹಜವಾಗಿ ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದು ಸಿನಿಮಾದ ಮೊದಲ ಗೆಲುವು. ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಜ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರಾಯಸಾವಾಗಿ ಕಥೆಗೆ ಆಯಾಮ ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೋ ಆ ಕೃತಿ ನೋಡುಗರಿಗೆ ಆಪ್ಯಾಯಮಾನವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಬದುಕಿಗೆ ಹತ್ತಿರವಾಗತ್ತೆ.

ಹೀಗೆ ಕಥೆ ತೆರೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ-ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯಗಳ ನಡುವಿನ ಘರ್ಷಣೆ ಶುರುವಾಗಿ ಇದು ಜಟ್ಟನೊಬ್ಬನ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಾಗಿ ಉಳಿಯದೇ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕನ ತಲೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಹೊಕ್ಕಿ ಮನದೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳು ಭುಗಿಲೇಳುತ್ತವೆ. ತೆರೆಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಜಟ್ಟನೊಬ್ಬನ ಕ್ಷುಲ್ಲಕ ಎನಿಸುವ ಜೀವನ ಬೃಹತ್ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯ ರಾಯಭಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮುತ್ತದೆ.

ಮುಗ್ಧ ಜಟ್ಟ ಬಂಧಿಯಾಗಿ ಹಿಡಿದಿಟ್ಟ ದಿಟ್ಟ ಮಹಿಳೆ ಸಾಗರಿಕ ಜಟ್ಟನ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗದೇ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಾಗಿ ಕೂರುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಜಟ್ಟ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಸೀರೆ ಉಡಲು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ತನ್ನ ಚಾಕಚಕ್ಯತೆಯಿಂದ ಜಟ್ಟನೇ ಸೀರೆ ಉಡುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡ್ತಾಳೆ.

ಸಾಮ ದಾನ ಬೇಧ ದಂಡ ಯಾವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಬಗ್ಗದೇ ಜಟ್ಟನನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಹಠದ ಮೂಲಕವೆ ಸೋಲಿಸಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಗೆಲುವಿನ ನಗೆ ಬೀರ್ತಾಳೆ ಸಾಗರಿಕ.

ಇತ್ತ ಜಟ್ಟನ ವೃತ್ತಿಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಮೇಲಧಿಕಾರಿ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕತೆ, ಸಹನೆ, ದಕ್ಷತೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸದ್ಗುಣಗಳಿಂದ ಜಟ್ಟನ ಮನಸಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಪಾರವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಭಾವಬೀರುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಕಾಣೆಯಾಗಿರುವ ಸಾಗರಿಕಾಳನ್ನು ಪೋಲಿಸರಿಂದ ಹುಡುಕಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದೆ ಇರುವಾಗ ಅದನ್ನು ರಾಜಕೀಯವಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಬಂಡವಾಳಶಾಹಿಗಳು ಕಾಡಿನ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ 

ರಾಜಕೀಯವಾಗಿ ಆ ಆಪಾದನೆಯನ್ನು ತಂದು ಪ್ರಾಮಾಣಿಕ

ಮೇಲಧಿಕಾರಿಯ ವರ್ಗಾವಣೆಗೆ ದಾಳ ಹಾಕುತ್ತರೆ. ಇದನ್ನ ತಿಳಿದ ಜಟ್ಟ ತಾನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಗೌರವಿಸುವ ತನ್ನ ಮೇಲಧಿಕಾರಿಯ ವರ್ಗಾವಣೆಗೆ ತಾನೇ ನೈತಿಕ ಹೊಣೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದಾಗ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಕುಸಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.

ಇದರ ನಡುವೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋದ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ವಾಪಸ್ಸು ಬರುತ್ತಾಳೆ, ಅಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಾಗಲೇ ಜಟ್ಟ ತನಗರಿವಿಲ್ಲದಂತೆ ಸಹನಾಮೂರ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ರೂಪುಗೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಮೇಲಿದ್ದ ಕೋಪ ತನಗೆತಾನೆ ಇಳಿದು ಹೋಗಿ ಅವಳ ಕಥೆಯನ್ನು ವಿನಮ್ರವಾಗಿ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾನಲ್ಲದೇ ಮರಳಿದ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಇದಾದ ನಂತರ ಬರುವ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಪ್ರಿಯಕರ, ಜಟ್ಟ ನಂಬುವ ಮಾದಿತಾಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಗ್ರಾಮದೇವತೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡಲು ಬರುವ ಪ್ರೊಫೆಸರ್

ಪಾತ್ರಗಳು ಕಥೆಯ ತಿರುವಿಗೆ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಪುಷ್ಠಿಕೊಡುತ್ತವೆ.

ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಜಟ್ಟನ ಸಾವಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಜಟ್ಟನಿಗೆ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಪಾಠ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಕಲ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿಸಿದ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ರಕ್ಷಕ  ಅವಕಾಶವಾದಿಯಾಗಿ ಟೀವಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂದರ್ಶನ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ, ಪ್ರಗತಿಪರ ಮಹಿಳೆಯ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಗಿರುವ ಸಾಗರಿಕ ಜಟ್ಟನ ಕೊಲೆಯಂತಹ ಕ್ರೂರ ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾದರೂ  ನಿರಪರಾಧಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೊರಬರುತ್ತಾಳೆ. ಹೀಗೆ ಜಟ್ಟನ ಸಾವಿಗೆ ವೈರುಧ್ಯಗಳು ಎಂದು ಬಿಂಬಿತವಾದ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕತೆ ಮತ್ತ ಪ್ರಗತಿಪರತೆ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗ್ತವೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನ ಸಾವಿರ ಥರ ಅರ್ಥೈಸಬಹುದು- ಅದು ಒಂದು ಸಿನಿಮಾದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕನಿಗೆ ನಿಜವಾದ ಗೆಲುವು. ಹೀಗೆ ಜಟ್ಟ ಯಾವುದೇ ಒಂದು ನಿಲುವಿಗೆ ಶರಣಾಗದೇ ತರ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಲುಕದ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಆಗುವ ಸಂಭವಗಳೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚು.

ಇನ್ನು ಸಿನಿಮಾ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದಲ್ಲೂ ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ವಿಶೇಷಗಳಿವೆ ಈ ಜಟ್ಟನಲ್ಲಿ. ಟೈಟಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಸಿರುವ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಕಲಾಕೃತಿಗಳು ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಶುರುವಾತ್ತಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಮೆರುಗು ಕೊಡುತ್ತವೆ. ಚಿತ್ರದ ಎರಡನೇ ನಾಯಕ  ಕಿಶೋರ್ ಅಂದರೆ ಮೊದಲನೇ ನಾಯಕ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಲೋಕೇಶನ್ - ಗೇರುಸೊಪ್ಪ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತದ ಕಾಡು ಪ್ರದೇಶ. ಕಿಶೋರ್ ನೀಲಿ ಕಂಗಳ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಓಟದ ಜಟ್ಟನಾಗಿ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕನ ಮನದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೂರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಚಿತ್ರದ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಗೆಲುವನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಕಿಶೋರ್ ಬದಲು ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಬಾಕ್ಸ್ ಆಫೀಸ್ ಓಪನಿಂಗ್ ಕೊಡುವ ನಾಯಕನನ್ನು ಹಾಕೊಬೋದಿತ್ತು ಅಂತಂದ್ರೆ ಕಿಶೋರ್ ಹಿಡಿದಿರುಸುವ ಅಭಿನಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಅವಮಾನ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾಯಕಿ ಸುಕೃತ ಸಾಗರಿಕ ಪಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣ ನ್ಯಾಯಸಲ್ಲಿಸದಿದ್ರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಮನೋಜ್ಞ ಅಭಿನಯದಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಪಾತ್ರದಷ್ಟೇ ದಿಟ್ಟತನದ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನದಿಂದ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಗೆಲ್ಲುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಪಾವನ ಜಟ್ಟನ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುದ್ದು ಮುದ್ದಾಗಿ ಕಂಡು ಇಷ್ಟವಾದರೆ ಫಾರೆಸ್ಟ್ ಆಫಿಸರ್ ಭೀಮ್ಕುಮಾರ್ ಪಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರೇಮ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಗಮನಸೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಕಿರಣ್ ಹಂಪಾಪುರ ಅವರು ಕಾಡಿನ ಹಸಿರು ತೋರಣವನ್ನು ಕ್ಯಾಮೆರಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಓರಣವಾಗಿ ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕ್ಲೈಮ್ಯಾಕ್ಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕತ್ತಲನ್ನೇ ಬೆರಗುಗೊಳಸಿಸುವ ಸಾಹಸ ದೃಶ್ಯಗಳು, ಮೊದಲಾರ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಟ್ಟ ಕಾಡುಗಳ್ಳರನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಬಡೀವಾಗ ಹಿನ್ನಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿದ ರೈಲು ಚಲಿಸುವ ಶಾಟ್, ಜಟ್ಟನ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಪುನರಾಗಮನವಾದಾಗ ಕತ್ತಲ ಮೂಲಕ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸುವ ಭಯ ಇವೆಲ್ಲ ಚಿತ್ರದ ದೃಶ್ಯವೈಭವಕ್ಕೆ ಕಲಶಪ್ರಾಯವಾಗುವಂಥ ಕೆಲವಂಶಗಳು.

ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆ ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ತೀರ ವಾಚ್ಯವೆನೆಸಿದರೂ ಕೆಲವು ಮಾತುಗಳ ತೂಕದ ಮುಂದೆ ವಾಚ್ಯ ಗೀಚ್ಯ ಮ್ಯಾಟರ್ ಆಗೋದಿಲ್ಲ. ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಗರೀಕತೆ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಗಂಡಸಿಂದ, ಬೆಸ್ಟ್ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ - ಜಾತಿ ಪದ್ಧತಿ , ಕಾಡುಪ್ರಾಣಿ  ಪಳಗಿಸೋನು - ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಳಗಿಸಲಾಗ್ಲಿಲ್ವ , ಶಿವ ಪಾರ್ವತಿ ಸಂಸಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಡೆಮಾಕ್ರಸಿ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಹೀಗೆ ನಮಗೊಂದೈವತ್ತು ಫೇಸ್ ಬುಕ್ ಸ್ಟೇಟಸ್ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಗುವಷ್ಟು ಸರಕನ್ನು ಗಿರಿರಾಜ್ ನಮಗೊದಗಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಭೀಮ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಜಟ್ಟನಿಗೆ ಅವಳನ್ನ ಚೆನಾಗ್ ನೋಡ್ಕೋ ಅನ್ನೋದು, ಸಾಗರಿಕಾ ಜಟ್ಟನಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಮೊದಲಿನ ತರ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅನ್ನೋದು, ಜಟ್ಟ ಕೋಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಮದ್ಯವನ್ನು  ಸೌದೆಯ ಕೆಂಡದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿದಾಗ ಬೆಂಕಿ ಹತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ದೃಶ್ಯ - ಹೀಗೆ ಮದ್ಯ ಸುರಿದೇ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಗರಿಕ ಜಟ್ಟನನ್ನು ಸುಡುವುದು, ಕೊನೆಗೆ

ಸಾಗರಿಕ ಜಟ್ಟನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಮಾದಿ ತಾಯಿಯ ದೇಹಾಕರವಿರುವಂತೆ ತೊಡೆಯಗಲಿಸಿ ಕೂರುವುದು ಅಸಂಖ್ಯ ವಿಚಾರಗಳನ್ನು 

ಬಹಳ ಸೂಚ್ಯವಾಗಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಗಿರಿರಾಜ್.

ಚಿತ್ರದ ಗೀತಸಾಹಿತ್ಯವೂ ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆಯಷ್ಟೇ ತೂಕವುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿದ್ದು ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಪದಗಳ ಲಾಲಿತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಆಶ್ಲೆ-ಅಭಿಲಾಷ್ ಸಂಗೀತದಿಂದ ಹಾಡುಗಳು ಮಜಬೂತಾಗಿ ಮೂಡಿಬಂದಿದೆ.

ಮಲೆನಾಡಿನ ಭಾಷೆ ಬಳಕೆ ಕಿವಿಗೆ ಇಂಪಾಗಿ ಕೇಳಿಸಿದರೂ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಸೊಗಡು ಮಿಸ್ಸಾದಂತಾಗುವುದು,  ಹಿನ್ನಲೆ ಸಂಗೀತದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವೆಡೆ ಅನನುಭವ ಗೋಚರಿಸುವುದು, ಜಟ್ಟ ಮನೆಗೆ ನಡಿಗೆಯೊಂದೇ ಮಾರ್ಗ ಎಂದು ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಂಬಿತವಾದರೂ ಕೆಲವು ಶಾಟ್ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೆಯ ಸುತ್ತ ಗಾಡಿ ಚಕ್ರದ ಗುರುತುಗಳು ಕಾಣುವುದು, ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಬರುವವರ ಅನನುಭವ ಎದ್ದು ಕಾಣುವುದು ಮುಂತಾದವು ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಅಂಶಗಳಾಗಿದೆ.

ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಮೇಕಿಂಗ್, ಅಭಿನಯ, ಹಾಡುಗಳು, ಸ್ಟಾರ್ ವಾಲ್ಯೂ,  ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆ, ಸಾಹಸ ಇವೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಮೀರಿ ಜಟ್ಟ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದು ಸಿನಿಮಾದೊಳಗಿರುವ ವಿಷಯದಿಂದ. ಸಿನಿಮಾದ ಮೂಲ ವಿಚಾರ ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ವಿನಿಮಯವಾದಾಗ ತಾನೇ ಸಿನಿಮಾದ ನೈಜ ಯಶಸ್ಸು. ಅದು ಜಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ನೋಡುಗರ ಮನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಚ್ಚು ಒತ್ತುತ್ತದೆ.

ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ ಶುರುವಾಗುವುದು ಬಸ್ಸಿಂದ

ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ತಜ್ಞರೆಲ್ಲ ಒಂದುಗೂಡಿ ಹುಡುಕಿದರೂ ಸಿಗದಷ್ಟು ಆಳವಾಗಿ ಬೇರೂರಿರುವ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಜ್ಜಾಲದ ಮೂಲವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಸೀದಾ
ಒಂದು ಬಸ್ಸಿಂದ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ ಶುರು ಆಗುತ್ತೆ ಎಂಬ ಆರೋಪ ಮಾಡಿ ತೋರಿಸುವ ಅಂಕಣವೊಂದನ್ನು ಬರೆಯ ಹೊರಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಸ್ವಾಗತ. ಸರಿ ಶುರುಮಾಡ್ತೀನಿ. 

'ರೈಯ್ಯಾ....' !!

ನಾನು ಚಿಕ್ಕಂದಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಸ್ಸಿನ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸುವ ಆಟವಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ. ಮನೆಗ್ ಬಂದ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಬಸ್ಸಲ್ಲೇನಾದ್ರೂ ಬಂದಿದ್ರೆ ಅವರು ಚಪ್ಪಲಿ ಬಿಡುವ ಮೊದಲೇ ಅವರಿಂದ ಚೀಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಬಿಡುವಷ್ಟು ಆತುರ. ಈ ಚೀಟಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹದ ಆಟ ಎಷ್ಟು ದಿನಗಳಿತ್ತು, ಹೇಗೆ ಶುರುವಾಯ್ತು,ಯಾವಾಗ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದೆ ಇವೆಲ್ಲ ನನಗ್ಯಾಕೋ ನೆನಪಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಕಲೆ ಹಾಕುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಏಕೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸ್ದೆ ಅಂತ ಈಗಲೂ ನೆನಪಿದೆ !!

ಒಂದು ದಿನ ನಾನು ಇದುವರೆಗೂ ಎಷ್ಟು ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲೆಹಾಕಿದ್ದೀನಿ ಎಂದು ನೊಡಲು ಮನೆಯ ಡ್ರೆಸ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಟೇಬಲ್ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಗೂಡು ತೆಗೆದು ನೋಡಿದೆ. ಸುಮಾರು ಚೀಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗುಡ್ಡೆಹಾಕಿದ್ದೆ. ಪರವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ ಶಭಾಶ್ ಅನ್ನಿಸುವ ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಯೋಚನೆ ಬಂತು. ಈ ಚೀಟಿ ಗುಡ್ಡೆಯನ್ನೆಲ್ಲ ಏನು ಮಾಡುವುದು?? ಉತ್ತರವಿಲ್ಲದ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ. ಕೆಲವು ಸಮಯ ಉತ್ತರ ಹುಡುಕಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದೆ, ಊಹುಂ ಏನು ಹೊಳಯಲಿಲ್ಲ.. ಅದರ ಸಂಗ್ರಹ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರರ್ಥಕ ಎನ್ನಿಸಿತು. ಅಂದಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಚೀಟಿ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಕ್ಕೆ ಚ್ಯುತಿಬಿತ್ತು.

ಹೀಗೆ ಒಂದು ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮೋಹದಿಂದ ಬಸ್ಸಿನ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲೆಹಾಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ನಾನು ಸಣ್ಣ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲೇ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕವಾಗಿ ಯೋಚಿಸಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೊಂದು ತೆರೆ ಎಳೆದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಮಜಾ ನೋಡಿ.. ಆಗ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಮೋಹ ಈಗ ಮತ್ತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನ ಆವರಿಸಿದೆ. ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ್ದ ಸನ್ಯಾಸತ್ವಕ್ಕೆ ವಿದಾಯ ಹೇಳಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಮೇಲಿನ ಮೋಹಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೊಂದು ಅರ್ಥವಿದೆ.

ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ರೈಲ್ವೇ ಸ್ಟೇಷನ್ ಇಂದ ಪ್ರೀಮಿಯರ್ ಸ್ಟುಡಿಯೋ ಹಾದು ಹೋಗುವ ಇಲವಾಲದ ಬಸ್ ಹತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ. ನನ್ನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ ಸ್ಟುಡಿಯೋ. ಎಂದಿನಂತೆ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಬಸ್ ಗೆ ಇದ್ದಕಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಚೆಕಿಂಗ್ ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಹತ್ತಿದ್ರು. ಒಬ್ಬ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಹುಡುಗನ ಬಳಿ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಫೈನ್ ಹಾಕಲು ಸಜ್ಜಾದ್ರು. ಆದ್ರೆ ವಿಷಯ ಏನಂದ್ರೆ ಪಾಪ ಅವನು ಆಗ ತಾನೇ ಬಸ್ ಹತ್ತಿದ್ದ, ಕಂಡಕ್ಟರ್ ಇನ್ನು ಅವನ ಬಳಿ ಬಂದೆ ಇರ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದ್ರೆ ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಯಾಕೋ ಅವನ ಮಾತು ಕೇಳಲು ಸಿದ್ಧನಿಲ್ಲ. ಕಂಡಕ್ಟರ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಇಡಿ ಬಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಬಸ್ಸೇ ಆ ಹುಡುಗನನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಥಿಸಿದರೂ ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಮಾತು ಕೇಳಲು ಸಿದ್ಧನಿಲ್ಲ. ಕಂಡಕ್ಟರ್ ಸಂಬಳವೂ ಕಟ್, ಹುಡುಗನಿಗೂ ಅದೆಷ್ಟೋ ಫೈನ್ ಅಂತೆಲ್ಲ ಮಾತಾಗುತಿತ್ತು. ಅಲ್ಲಾ ಇನ್ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಗಳು ಇಷ್ಟೊಂದ್ ಬಿಗಿ ಇದ್ರೂ ಕೆಲವರು ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಕೊಡೋದೇ ಇಲ್ವಲ ಅಂತ ಮನದಲ್ಲೇ ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೆ. ಅಷ್ಟೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಸ್ಟಾಪ್ ಬಂತು. ಇಳಿದೆ.  

 ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ವೈಟ್ ಫೀಲ್ಡ್ ನ ಹೋಪ್ ಫಾರ್ಮ್ ಸಿಗ್ನಲ್ ಇಂದ ಐಟಿಪಿಬಿ (ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಟೆಕ್ ಪಾರ್ಕ್) ಗೆ ಎರಡೇ ಸ್ಟಾಪು. ವೋಲ್ವೋ ಹತ್ತಿದರೆ ಹತ್ತು ರೂಪಾಯಿ. ಮಾಮೂಲಿ ಬಸ್ ಹತ್ತಿದರೆ ಐದು. ವೋಲ್ವೋ ಹತ್ತಿದರೆ ಹತ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂಭತ್ತು ಸಾರಿ ನಿಯತ್ತಾಗಿ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಕೊಡ್ತಾರೆ. ಅದೇ ಮಾಮೂಲಿ ಬಸ್ ಹತ್ತಿದ್ರೆ ಹತ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂಭತ್ತು ಸಾರಿ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಕೊಡಲ್ಲ. ಘಟನೆಯೊಂದು ಹೀಗೆ ನಡೀತು - 

ನಾನು ಹೋಪ್ ಫಾರ್ಮ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಮೂಲಿ ಬಸ್ ಹತ್ತಿದೆ. ಕಂಡಕ್ಟರ್ ಬಂದ. 

ಕಂ - ಮೂರ್ ರುಪಾಯಿ ಕೊಡಿ. ನಾನು ಕೊಟ್ಟೆ. ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಕೊಡದೆ ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದ. ನಾನು ವಾಪಸ್ ಕರೆದು ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಕೊಡಿ ಅಂದೆ. ಇನ್ನು ಎರಡು ರುಪಾಯಿ ಕೊಡಿ ಅಂದ. ಕೊಟ್ಟೆ, ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಇಶ್ಯೂ ಆಯ್ತು. ಹೀಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ಸಾರಿಯು ನನಗೆ ಆಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆದ್ರೆ ಅಂದೇಕೋ ಕಂಡಕ್ಟರ್ ನನ್ನು ಕಿಚಾಯಿಸಲು ಮನಸಾಯ್ತು. ನಾನು - ಸ್ವಾಮಿ.. ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಐದು ರುಪಾಯ್ ಆದ್ರೆ, ಮೊದ್ಲು ಮೂರ್ ರುಪಾಯ್ ಏನಿಕ್ ಇಸ್ಕೊಂಡ್ರಿ? ಕಂಡಕ್ಟರ್ ಬಳಿ ಉತ್ತರವಿಲ್ಲ, ನನ್ನದು ಮತ್ತದೇ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ. ಕಂಡಕ್ಟರ್ ಗೆ ನೆತ್ತಿಗೇರಿತು, ಅವಮಾನ ಆಯ್ತು ಯಾಕಂದ್ರೆ ನಾನು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಕೇಳುವಂತೆಯೇ ಮಾತಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಅವನು ಜೋರಾಗಿ ಅಸಂಬದ್ಧ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಡಲು ಶುರುಮಾಡಿದ. ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಮಾತಿಗೆ ಮಾತು ಬೆಳೆದು ಕೊನೆಗೊಂದು ಮಾತು ಅವನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಹೊರ ಬಂತು. ನನಗೆ ಮಾತೇ ಹೊರಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವ ಹೀಗಂದ - "ಎರಡು-ಮೂರ್ ರೂಪಾಯಿಗೆ ಸಾಯ್ತ್ಯಲ್ಲ. ನಿಮ್ಮಂಥವರಿಂದಾನೆ ಈ ದೇಶ ಹಾಳಾಗಿರೋದು."

ಅಲ್ಲಿ ತನಕ, ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಕೇಳಿ ಪಡೆಯುವುದರಿಂದ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗುವ ಲಾಸ್ ಕಮ್ಮಿ ಆಗತ್ತೆ, ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ ತಡೆ, ಅದು ಇದು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದ ನನಗೆ ಆ ಮಾತು ಕೇಳಿ ನನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯೊಂದನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಾಕಿದ ಅವನ ಅಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ನಗು ಬಂತು. ಅಷ್ಟೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಸ್ಟಾಪೂ ಬಂತು. ಅಶಾಂತ ಮನದಲ್ಲೇ ಕೆಳಗಿಳಿದೆ.

ಮಾರನೆ ದಿನ ಅದೇ ಸ್ಟಾಪು. ಈ ಬಾರಿ ವೋಲ್ವೋ ಹತ್ತಿದೆ. ಕಂಡಕ್ಟರ್ ಹತ್ರ ಏನು ಗಲಾಟೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಪಡೆದೆ. ಮಧ್ಯದ ಒಂದು ಸ್ಟಾಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಐಡಿ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ತಗ್ಲಾಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದ ಉತ್ತರ ಭಾರತದ ಯುವಕ ಕಂಡಕ್ಟರ್ ಗೆ ೫ ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟ. ನಿಯತ್ತಿನ ಕಂಡಕ್ಟರ್ ಹತ್ತು ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ಟು ಅಂದ. ಹಲ್ಲು ಗಿಂಜುತ್ತಾ ಅಡ್ಜಸ್ಟ್ ಮಾಡ್ಕೊಳಿ ಅನ್ನೋ ಥರ ಎಕ್ಸ್ಪ್ರೆಶನ್  ಕೊಟ್ಟ. ಕಂಡಕ್ಟರ್ - ಇಲ್ಲ  ಸಾರ್ ಐದು ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಆಸೆಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಯಡವಟ್ಟು ಮಾಡ್ಕೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂತ ಹೇಳಿ ಸ್ವತಃ ಕಂಡಕ್ಟರ್ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಕೊಟ್ಟ. ನನಗೆ ಮೈ ಉರಿಯಿತು. ಅಷ್ಟು ಓದಿ ಗುಡ್ಡೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಇಂಟರ್ವ್ಯೂ ಎಲ್ಲ ಪಾಸು ಮಾಡಿ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ದುಡಿಯುವ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಒಂದು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪವಾದರೂ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಐದು ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಉಳಿಸಲು ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಏನು ಬೇಡ ಅಡ್ಜಸ್ಟ್ ಮಾಡ್ಕೊಳಿ ಅನ್ನುವವನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹೇಸಿಗೆ ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಿತು. ಕಂಡಕ್ಟರ್ರೇ ದುಡ್ಡಿನಾಸೆಗೆ ಬೀಳದೆ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಕೊಡಲು ಸಿದ್ಧನಿರುವಾಗ ಇವನದೇನು ಗೋಳು ಅಂತೆಲ್ಲ ಒಮ್ಮೆಗೆ ಏನೇನೋ ಅನಿಸಿತು, ಅಶಾಂತ ಮನದಲ್ಲೇ ಕೆಳಗಿಳಿದೆ.

ಹೀಗೆ ಎರಡು ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ವೈರುಧ್ಯ ಘಟನೆಗಳು ಜರುಗಿದವು. ಒಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡಕ್ಟರ್ ತಪ್ಪು, ಮತ್ತೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕನ ತಪ್ಪು. ಒಂದೆರಡು ಮೂರು ರೂಪಾಯಿ ಉಳಿಸಲೋ/ಗಳಿಸಲೋ, ಚಿಲ್ಲರೆ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೋ, 'ಏನ್ ಪರವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ' ಧೋರಣೆಯೊಂದಿಗೋ, 'ಅಯ್ಯೋ ಪಾಪ ಕಂಡಕ್ಟರ್ ಬದಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿ' ಎಂಬ ಕರುಣಾಭಾವ ಉಕ್ಕಿ ಹರಿದುದ್ದಕ್ಕೋ .. ಹೀಗೆ ಕಾರಣ ಯಾವುದೇ ಇರಲಿ ನೀವು ಬಸ್ ಹತ್ತಿ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಪಡೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದ್ರೆ ಅದು ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಂದಿ ಹಾಡಿದಂತೆ. ಇಷ್ಟು ಸಣ್ಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಹುಳುಕನ್ನೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಲಿ ಮುಚ್ಚಲಾಗದಿದ್ದರೇ ಇನ್ನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಂದಕದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದು ದಂಡ. ನಮ್ಮ ಹಣಕ್ಕೆ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಪಡೆಯುವಷ್ಟು ಚೈತನ್ಯ ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲೇಬೇಕು. ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೊಂದು ಸಣ್ಣ ಹೋರಾಟದ, ದನಿಯೆತ್ತಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ, ಖಂಡಿತ ತಪ್ಪಲ್ಲ.

ನಾನು ಪ್ರತೀ ಬಾರಿ ಆ ಹೋಪ್ ಫಾರ್ಮ್ ಜಂಕ್ಷನ್ ಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ನಿಂತಾಗ ಬರುವ ಬಸ್ಸಿನ ಕಂಡಕ್ಟರ್ ಯಾವುದೇ ಗಲಾಟೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಕೊಡಲಿ ಎಂದು ಭರವಸೆ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆದರೂ ಅದೇಕೋ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತಾಗಲೆಲ್ಲ ಕಾಲು ಕೆರೆದಹಾಗೆ ಆಗತ್ತೆ. ಈಗ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿ ಬಿಎಂಟಿಸಿ ಕಾಲ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್, ಇಂಟರ್ನೆಟ್ ಪೋರ್ಟಲ್ ಮಾಹಿತಿ  ಕೂಡ ಇದೆ ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಳಸಲು.

My second attempt towards film making was yet another Kannada short film titled 'CHE'.
People waited for it ,watched it and many of them took time to even write about it.
Thanks for that. Here is a compilation of all those reviews/critics/suggestions/love shown to our short film 'CHE'. The length of this compilation is huge. But i had to do it for my personal use. I have no problem in making this public.

Just want to point out two scenes..

Scene where JEEVANA calls her daughters.. Having both the phones at the same time did not seem to go with the serious and realistic movie ..

Scene where the SARTHAKA walks out of his house.. Lighting was little low for the scene..

Really nice work man.. Keep the good work going.. And reach new heights

it is very small error to be observed by everyonne .. but is makes an impact on overall screen ..

But overall very nice work bhai one can see clear improvement from your previous one! Good going

Hi Shashank, Watched the film. Superb direction!..I could not guess the ending..I mean its a different climax. A very very good msg to parents as well as people who want to commit suicide. Good story narration. realistic!...aa hudugi acting innoo swalpa natural aagi irbahudhaagittheno ansthu aste...but overall very nice! Congrats for coming up with such great short films which has great messages and ya, nice names Jeevana and saarthaka!

It's superb guru The message is ultimate and I am sure it would reach out to masses. Critic: Along with exam failure for which he commits suicide and then realizes guilt and regret, you could have also portrayed him poor, witnessing other failures in life and then overcome them. In 14 minutes, Shashank, you have conveyed so much! Easabeku, iddu Jaisabeku is a great message! We liked it! Intellectually, it is stimulating. Logically speaking, it is sound. Story is gripping. Suspense is a part of the plot, as well. Youngsters have done their roles with interest. Music is fresh. Songs are lilting, meaningful. Technically, it is flawless. There is a science called 'Appreciative Inquiry (AI)'. The word Inquiry has an 'I', not an 'E' like the one used in Police stations. Like your film says, we should take what is good today and project it into the future, to see (and live) all the possible possibilities. Instead, some people end up taking 'what is not there' (like 'marks' in this story), imagine that there is only 'one' possibility' and end up a victim of limited thinking. AI (is all over Google) is fast spreading its influence and is an alternative to current day fashion of 'Deficit thinking'. Your film reminded me of that. Great work! Compliments to your entire team. Watched your film "Che"...first of all the poster is amazing, the way it was merged at the end was terrific!

Loved the way the film opened...the action of the present, but the words giving away the back story was superb...even the way the 'bande' was empty in the end had a nice touch...the effort put into the film is very visible and really admire the passion with which you have made this film...from credits to costumes to very small detailing...

Now, to the 'suggestions'

1) The film length could have been shorter...your synopsis kind of gave away what to expect at the end (unlike your "Mugdha Yuddha") so that way the different stages of 'what-could-have-been' life was conveying the same point...it felt a little repetitive. 2) BGM was very good, but I felt songs did not make much of an impact...if it is your way of experimenting and collaborating with future in mind, then no issues

3) The what-could-have-been life seemed more like the lead pair's parents' and grand parents' lives...and not how their lives would be in 10 years or 30 years...a girl wearing tees and jeans would not shift to sarees and start calling her lover/hubby as "ree" in 2023...and definitely not shift to silk sarees and uyaales by 2043! So those details could have been taken care a little better.

I have never made a film...so I am giving this feedback purely from a viewer's perspective...please use swan-milk analysis (hamsaksheera nyaaya ) when you read the suggestions! More power to you!!!

Hey shankoo... Liked the movie great improvement since ur last... Treatment of the movie is good too the thing that I really loved is how I hav paid attention to the minutest details... For instance, the names in the movie..brilliant!

One thing I felt was in some places, the bg music overpowers the dialog... See if it's a big concern n if it needs to be re-done. Rest all super.

I must really say that the screenplay and the concept is beautifully picturised. Good Job:) I am also a SJCE student-2011 passout. Hoge Boyz skit bagge thumba kelidde. The songs and lyrics in this film are beautifully written and thumba chennag hadidare:) I too have a interest in acting and singing is my hobby. College alli ella I have given stage performances and iglu whenever i get chance in office or so i would like to give. Nangu script writing alli interest ide. 1. camera angles in the interval 5+mins to 6+mins (the discussion rounds among the 3 frens) could have been much better.. like a moving roll from one fren to another as they talk and a quick set back when all are talking/laughing

3. poorna chandra's voice is very good i must say.. clear and constant.. i feel his acting skills as a protagonist in the play could have improved.. adu director kelsa aagatte innu horage tegsadu acting na..

4. u have shown 3 phases of life and how happy it could have been.. 3 short scenes would have made it more cool..film would have come in 10 mins.. swalpa lag anstittu nange madhyadalli..

5. lover sigo khushi alli baro hadu innu swalpa bright aagi irbekittu.. its with the music director again..

and sad song swalpa jasti drag aetu ansatte..

6. the way story takes off and the way it ends is good.. infact very good..ondu theme ide story li.. so adu nange ishta aetu

7. the female lead has acted quite well.. she has shown that vibrant girl side and also maintained a composure.. she excels above poorna sometimes. i mean just in comparison in this 14mins movie

8. innondu point nan personal opinion alli ansiddu.. i like movies which has mixed emotions (it starts from laughter goes with sadness and ends in something which audience need to guess, OR it starts with sadness ends in laughter OR vice versa OR violence and laughter together).. illi start aagiddu tumba serious note ittu and end aagiddu hange ittu.. u know the climax.. its that his soul feels ashamed that he committed suicide.. so its sad.. a more vibrant beginning with a comical touch about exams could have added more life.. allinda sudden aagi nim chitradalli torsiro tara hero ge tension shuru agatte nodu "nanu manege hogi calculate madtini" anno point ge bandu nintidre innu life irady

sir,i saw ur short movie ,i knw as an upcoming filmmaker how much shortcome you have faced in bringing this project .My small suggestion for your upcoming project is :

"Studying literature got me thinking about the narrative freedom that authors have enjoyed for centuries [...] it seemed to me that filmmakers should enjoy those freedoms as well"-Christopher Nolan

I found from ur movie is that you hav chosen "universal truth" as a main subject but ppl knew tht fact very well,i hav seen many movie of this type in many language!! so pls be innovative in taking the subject it's not 'matter of choice' instead matter of 'our state'. Show our culture,tratidion, and rich literture to this world ,as one of greatest filmmaker "puttanna kanagal" did in the past ... At last i'm excpecting another "puttanna kanagal" for this state

Hey saw your movie. Good to hear words like 'hall ticket', dunno when I heard it last time . Obviously you've made progress technically from your previous movie, like using a better camera, tracking shots, close ups etc. However, cinematography was still my bigger distraction - blown highlights, shadows, metering totally off in places, dark faces. Nothing personal, I know u r using short films to hone your craft so though I should let you know my view. Will wait eagerly for your next venture. Good luck for the movie, hope it brings you more recognition.

ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿದೆ.ಹಾಡುಗಳು ಹಿಡಿಸಿದವು.ಆದರೆ  ಎಂಡಿಂಗ್ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಬಹುದಿತ್ತು. ಸತ್ತಿರುವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಮಾತನಾಡಿರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಅಂದರೆ ಅದು ಇಲ್ಲಾಜಿಕಲ್ ಆಗಬಹುದು. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಆತ್ಮವೆನ್ನುವ ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆಯ ಸತ್ಯಾಸತ್ಯತೆ ನಮ್ಮವಿವೇಚನೆಗೆ ನಿಲುಕದ್ದು. ಅವನು ತಾನು ಸತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ ಈ ಮಧುರ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೈಜಾರಿ ಬಿಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದವಲ್ಲ ಎಂದುಮತ್ತೇ ಬದುಕಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬೆರೆತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದ್ದರೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಓರಣಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಇದುಸಲಹೆಯಷ್ಟೆ. ಶುಭವಾಗಲಿ. ಮುಂದುವರೆಯಲಿನಿಮ್ಮಪಯಣ.

ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯಿನಿಸಿತುನಿನ್ನಬಗೆಗೆ.ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿತ್ರಕತೆ. ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪಾತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಆಂತರಿಕವಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಧ್ವನಿಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಕತೆಯನ್ನು

ಬೆಳೆಸಿರುವ ತಂತ್ರ ನನಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಯಿತು. ಜೀವನ, ಸಾರ್ಥಕ, ಪಲ್ಲವಿ ಚರಣ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಹೆಸರುಗಳು. ಚಿತ್ರಕತೆಗೆ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿವೆ. ಚಿತ್ರದಿಂದ ಚಿತ್ರಕ್ಕೆನೀನು ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪರಿ ದಿಗ್ಭ್ರಮೆ ಮೂಡಿಸಿದೆ.ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಗೆಲುವು ನಿನಗಾಗಿ ಕಾದಿದೆ.ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳು.

Very good movie.Not at all boring.Amazing quality of cinematography, as good as any regional cinema.

Music, video quality, acting, scenes everything is nice.  Doesn't feel like amateur movie, you are almost there. :)
